COME AS YOU ARE. (Matthews 11:28NIV)

By Nickodemus Shaboka Jr (from facebook)
“Come to me ALL (Alcoholics, Drug addicts, Homosexuals, Sex-workers, Masturbators, Liars, Swindlers, Abortionists, polygamist, playboys, go diggers, you name it) who are weary and burdened, (oppressed, depressed, ashamed of their doings, embarrassed of their actions, tired of their way of life, wanting to quit but don’t know how) and I (Jesus) will give you rest (Peace of mind, inside-out transformation, change of life, strengthening of character, impartation of godly living, power to help you live Godly, set you free from demonic oppression). This is the best Jesus can do for us people. John 14:6 Jesus says “I am the way (to heaven, to God, to finding the purpose of life), the truth (trustworthy truth) and the life (For the body, soul and spirit, in the present age and the coming one, in this and the next life after death). So finding Jesus is finding an indescribable gift that one can get in this World. Even the Diamond Ring that Prince Adam gave to his wife cannot be compared to the value of finding Jesus.
My brother, my sister, my Friend, you don’t have to change so that you can be accepted by God, just come as you are and Jesus will change you. No man is able to help himself out of sin; the only power to transform mankind is in Jesus. Accept him today and your life will never remain the same.
REMEMBER YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE SAVED SINCE YERSTERDAY SO DON’T WASTE MORE TIME. COME TO JESUS AND EXPEREINCE HIS LOVE. WOW!!

YOU ARE ALOWED TO BE RICH REGARDLESS OF YOUR AGE....COMMERCIALIZE YOUR TALENT......HERE IS THE WAY

By Rose Mushi

Your Talent is not enough. It must be converted skill for it to have market value.
Talent is common. Dedication is rare. And It takes dedication to convert a talent to a Skill.

There are 3 ways to commercialize your talent; 3 ways to make profit from your talent. Let us look at them quickly.

1. BRAND YOUR TALENT.
What this simply means is what are the qualities of your talent that differentiates, distinguishes your talent from others? What sets you apart from others? What is your USP -Unique Selling Point? Don't try to do or imitate other people with the same talent....There is something different about you, Find it and Focus on developing it.

Branding also includes dress style, slogan, colour, voice pitch, name you have that makes your talent remain in the minds of people. A brand is that colour, logo, name, slogan, style that sets your talent apart from others, that make people quickly notice.
Your job is to accentuate it!
This is what makes you worth commercial value in the market place.
People pay more for brands than for products or services.

2. PACKAGE YOUR TALENT.
Packaging attracts.

Packaging involves doing a complementary card, having a business manager, having a website, having your demos and profile brochures.

Packaging also means converting your talent to sellable and well packaged products. For example, having a musical album, a show, a book, a magazine, a radio program etc. Package products sell higher than unpackaged products.

3. PROMOTE YOUR TALENT.
Nothing succeeds until somebody sells. At the beginning of your career , you must promote your talents/ products. You must scout for jobs, look for them. You must accept every invitation and make sure that you have a lot of visibility. Continuous promotion would eventually pay off financially.

GOD, ME AND YOU WANTS YOU RICH............GO NOW!!!!!!!

What does the Bible say about stress?

Answer: While most major translations of the Bible don’t specifically use the word “stress,” Scripture does speak to things such as anxiety, worry and trouble and gives us clear answers on how we should deal with them. The dictionary defines stress as physical, mental, or emotional strain or tension. Everyone suffers from stress at one time or another. In fact, research indicates that children who live in a stressful home environment are at greater risk to become highly stressed by life’s challenges. Stress can cause us to do things we would not normally do or cause us to shut down completely. Anything that causes stress is called a “stressor.”

Stress can be caused by either processive stressors or systemic stressors. Processive stressors are those that elicit what is called the “fight or flight” reaction. Systemic stressors are our bodies’ automatic physiological responses to stress. Stress takes its toll on all of us to varying degrees, and how we deal with it depends in large part on who we are. It is no wonder that many days we struggle trying to cope with the distresses that come from our jobs, our health or family issues. God has created us and knows that, because of our fallen natures, we can sometimes allow stress to rule our lives.

Many people become stressed because they don’t trust God to provide the basic necessities of life. Jesus said, "Therefore I tell you, do not be anxious about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you will put on. Is not life more than food and the body more than clothing? And which of you by being anxious can add a single hour to his span of life?” (Matthew 6:25, 27). This passage is a classic example of why we get stressed in the first place—we worry about providing for ourselves and our loved ones. We stress over money because we never seem to feel that we have enough. We worry about making ends meet, often living paycheck to paycheck. Or we become consumed by materialism and in turn, stressed out about maintaining our lifestyle.
Materialism inevitably leads to stress because when we seek the world’s goods, we have fallen for the “deceitfulness of wealth” (Mark 4:19), the lie that such things relieve stress and lead to happiness, contentment and joy. They do not.

The starting point for dealing with stress is Jesus Christ. Jesus offers us great encouragement in John 14:1: "Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me.” We desperately need Him in our lives. We need Him because He is the only one who can give us the strength to cope with the troubles in our lives. Believing in Him does not mean that we will have a trouble-free life or that we will not succumb to stress in our lives. It simply means that a life without Jesus Christ makes coping with stress an impossible and often debilitating task.

Believing leads to trusting. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us to “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.” Leaning on “our own understanding” often means adopting the world’s ways of relieving stress—things like alcohol or drugs or mindless entertainment. Instead, we are to trust His Word as our ultimate guide to a stress-reduced life. David says, “I sought the LORD, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears” (Psalm 34:4). David knew that by seeking the Lord and sharing his troubles with Him that perhaps he would find favor with Him. The Lord in turn answered him and calmed him down.

Perhaps no passage in Scripture better captures how to handle stress than Philippians 4:6-7: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” The Lord tells us not to be anxious about anything, but rather to turn everything over to Him in prayer. Lifting our burdens and concerns to a holy and righteous God daily will mitigate or eliminate the stress in our lives. Psalm 55:22 tells us to cast all our cares on Him because He will sustain us and never fail us. Jesus Christ offers peace if we come to Him with our worries and concerns. “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your hearts be troubled, neither let them be afraid” (John 14:27).

Stress of all kinds is a natural part of life (Job 5:7, 14:1; 1 Peter 4:12; 1 Corinthians 10:13). But how we deal with it is up to us. If we choose to try to do it on our own we face a long, uphill battle that will not end well. The only way we can deal with stress is with Jesus Christ, first by believing in Him. Without believing in Him we are our on our own, and success in coping with stress is almost impossible. Second, we need to trust Him and obey Him. We should trust Him to do what is right because His ways are always best for us. Disobedience and sin can produce stress and cut us off from the only means of peace and joy. By obeying His commandments we reap the blessings of true contentment from a loving God. Finally, we need to seek His peace daily by filling our minds with His Word, lifting all things to Him in prayer, and sitting at His feet in awe and reverence. It is only by His grace, mercy and love that the stress in our lives can be managed.

HEARING FROM GOD

By Doreen Lifard
It has been a while now since the last sermon we got to share. I am grateful to God for this opportunity that we have once again to get to explore His word.
Today, we are going to talk about hearing from God. Can we really hear God in this period of time where there is too much noise around us? The answer is YES!

It will be very nice if you read the book of 1 Samuel chapter 3, the sermon will base on this chapter.
In summary, the story is about the first time when the prophet Samuel was called by God. If you are a good student of the word of God you will be aware of how Samuel was born. He was the answer to his mother's (Hannah) prayers. 1 Samuel 1:11 says "And she made a vow, saying, "O Lord Almighty, if you will only look upon your servant's misery and remember me, and not forget your servant but give her a son, then I will give him to the Lord for all the days of his life, and no razor will ever be used on his head." "
Samuel was taken to the house of the Lord at a very tender age, the bible says after he was weaned (verse 22 of the first chapter).

Back to chapter 3. The bible says the word of God by then was  rare and there were not many vision. God called Samuel four times before starting to speak to him, and the first three times, he responded to Eli until the moment when Eli told him what to say so as to give God a chance to say what He wanted to say to him.
Verse 7 of the third chapter says "Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord: The word of the Lord had not yet been revealed to him"
We see in verse 9 and 10 "So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”
Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”"
What I want us to grasp from this chapter concerning hearing from God is that

1.   God wants to speak to us, He longs to speak to us even though the word of God may be rare to others or you may be around people with no vision.

2.   Your age does not matter, God can still speak to you. For example, Samuel was only a small boy.
3.   We need to know the word of God to measure against what we here because God will never say anything to you that is against His own word from the bible.

4.   The more we respond to what God says, the more we hear from Him. For example when Samuel responded to the call, God started to speak and told him so many things.

5.   We need some teachings, a teacher or let’s say a mentor can help us learn more on how to hear from God. Take an example of Samuel and Eli, Eli was there long before and he has been working for God for so long and so Samuel had so much to learn from Eli. Eli was the one who taught him how to respond.

   6. God speaks to us often; I came to notice that there were so many times when I came to realize that at so and so moment God spoke to me about a certain thing. Put more focus on what you hear from within you. God speaks to us more often than we think. Sometimes we think it is just our thoughts but in real sense, God drops His ideas into our mind so many times. God speaks to us through some other people around us. God speaks to us through nature and all that is around us. God speaks to everyone, getting closer to God helps us hear Him even louder. Work more on your relationship with God!!!

Have a good time and God bless you so much!!!
